Teacher testimonials about working for Education Network and living in Japan

I’ve worked at many different places across several fields of work. One thing I have learned is that enjoying the people you work with is key. Teaching kids in Japan is a pleasure. Lots of amazing kids left lasting memories from so much fun, games, and hilarious moments. Great students provide for a nice experience, but it is really your coworkers here that will make you want to stay. The company focuses on fun, interactive learning, and they achieve this through fun and interesting people. You have the opportunity to teach nearly all ages, and you may have favorite days, but it is hard to choose favorite classes.

Japan is a country with a lot to see and do and has a unique but familiar culture. Coming from Southern California, I was in love with the fall colors. Japan’s wildlife is beautiful and everywhere. The cities are lively yet clean. People are very excited to make new friends and accept you into any new groups and experiences. Living in Aichi was great. You are in the center of Japan, which allows you to easily travel all around. It is only a short trip to the exciting metropolis capitol Tokyo or the fun and friendly Osaka. Really you can take the bullet train just about anywhere, but you might just want to stay local and enjoy all that Aichi has to offer.

If you are looking to travel and teach somewhere in the world, I can’t think of a reason to pass up Japan. If you have already decided that you want to teach in Japan, do yourself a favor and work here.
