Teacher testimonials about working for Education Network and living in Japan

My name is Dominique Flores and I worked as K.I.S as a 3 Year Class Teacher, during 2012 and 2013.

The entire experience was fantastic. I couldn’t have asked to be part of a better staff and to work for a better institution. I was blessed by being given the opportunity to work with possibly the hardest working and inspirational co-worker I could ever have asked for, Yasuko was a gem to work alongside. Everybody else on the staff were also so warm and welcoming, not to mention supportive and encouraging too.

One thing that struck me about K.I.S was how much I felt like I was part of a family while working there, which as an expat in a foreign country, was a blessing. The children and their parents were also such a pleasure to serve and work for. The entire school made my services feel appreciated and as a result I felt valued whilst working at K.I.S.

Although the hours were long and quite an adjustment coming from a South African educational background, I will forever more be grateful to K.I.S and the opportunity I was blessed with to learn so much. My experience moulded me into a more dedicated educator who has a more enthusiastic approach towards teaching.
