KIS   Teachers

Elenoa (an early childhood educator)

I believe that as educators we are responsible in equipping our leaners to become their best self. I will accept that every individual is unique in their own way. Therefore, I will ensure that the learning environment is catered for all learning needs and that every individual is given the chance to explore and grow. I understand that learning entails strong professional relationships and I want to be able to implement this in my classroom.

Nozomi (a nursery teacher)

I am very glad to be able to support the childrenʼs growth as a member of KIS. I believe that children are naturally curious and motivated to learn new things. I want to create an environment in which children can discover fun things and explore their interests freely. I also want to learn various things from children and grow together with them.

Roxy (an early childhood educator)

Hello, my name is Roxanne Nel, but you can call me Roxy. I was born and raised in South Africa. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, and watching series. I also love animals, especially cats, dogs, and birds. I have many years of experience working with children in different environments such as teaching ages between 3 and 8, assisting with mini cricket coaching, and with high school girls in a boarding establishment. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Foundation Phase. I was also lucky enough to have spent almost 2 years studying in Perth, Australia, where I worked part time at a daycare. Although I achieved my studies later in life, teaching young children has always been my biggest passion and I am fortunate enough to get to pursue this. My aim is to always create a positive, safe and fun learning environment where my children feel a sense of belonging, and a solid foundation for lifelong learning.

Kumiko  (a nursery teacher)

I have been dreaming about being a teacher since I was an elementary student. Now my dream came true and I am here at KIS. I am so glad to be here. I am very happy to see the children’s shining eyes and smiling faces and also to hear their laughter. I always try to know what they see and what they feel and I try to see it and feel it with them. Also I try to know what they are interested in and what they want to do , so we can do it together and have fun together. I believe that children grow much when they have fun and they are involved in something. As the children grow, I hope to continue growing as a teacher as well.

Yuki (a nursery teacher)

My dream was to be a teacher since I was a child and now I'm really glad to work at KIS. By seeing the world through children’s eyes I will understand their interests and concerns and I can share their joy when they achieve something. In daily life, I want to support them by considering how the children are feeling. I try to provide an environment that children can feel happy and comfortable in.
