Curriculum Coordinator
Megumi (a nursery teacher)

I believe in the words "Learn through play". We provide a fun and comfortable environment for the students. If the students tell me at the end of the day "I had fun today", this enlightens me very much!Everything happens for a reason, whether they appear meaningless to others. I wish our school will bring you and your child/children something meaningful to your life. Thank you for visiting our web site!

School Affairs
Takako (a nursery teacher)

"I love me. I love you. I love the world. I am proud of myself. I can listen to you. I can tell you. This is my choice."
The philosophy of Kids International School are condensed beliefs that we want our children to develop in their early years. The teachers in our school are committed to the daily care and education of children with this philosophy in mind. As the school affairs administrator at such a loving school, my mission is to support the class teachers and create an ideal environment that surrounds the children. As a staff member at an international school, I will do my best to help the children develop not only language skills, but also social skills and a healthy mind and body while using English in their daily lives.

Samantha (an early childhood educator)

Hi! My name is Samantha Young, but everybody calls me Sam. I was born and raised in South Africa, spending most of my life on farms, so I love to spend my free time in the outdoors doing things such as gardening, hiking and Mountain Biking. I have taught children ranging between the ages of 4 years old to 13 years old for almost five years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Foundation Phase from the University of Pretoria, and later I completed my Honors in Inclusive Education from the University of South Africa.

Kumiko  (a nursery teacher)

I have been dreaming about being a teacher since I was an elementary student. Now my dream came true and I am here at KIS. I am so glad to be here. I am very happy to see the children’s shining eyes and smiling faces and also to hear their laughter. I always try to know what they see and what they feel and I try to see it and feel it with them. Also I try to know what they are interested in and what they want to do , so we can do it together and have fun together. I believe that children grow much when they have fun and they are involved in something. As the children grow, I hope to continue growing as a teacher as well.

Stef  (an early childhood educator)

Hello, my name is Stefania Collett, my preferred name is Stef. I was fortunate to have grown up on a farm in South Africa. I enjoy playing sport and being outdoors. I have had many years’ experiences working with children, from coaching sports to working in the classroom. I have taught learners from the age of 4 years to 9 years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Foundation Phase from the IIE Varsity College. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher, my first teaching experience was when I was 7 years of age, I would teach my teddy bears. I believe teaching is a passion and it is not a career that you choose but rather one that chooses you.
