Halloween Camp
A two day-one night trip for Halloween has been a popular event since 1998 for school children. Students make a costume to display in a parade and enjoy other Halloween activities. It is held at the end of October.
Christmas Day School
This camp is held on December 24th or 25th at the KIS school building in Nagakute. Students enjoy the Christmas activities with Santa Claus.
International Summer Camp
A three day-two night trip to the mountains (close to the beach) is a popular summer event for school children. Students try to communicate in English while enjoying nature.
Field Trip
The Field trip is held in parks for KEC students and their families. Various outdoor activities are enjoyed with both foreign and Japanese teachers.
Reading Contest
The contest has been held since 2001. About 100 school children, who were selected as candidates among our afternoon classes, will read a favorite book at the final contest. This event motivates students to improve their oral reading skill.

KIS Summer Day School
Summer day camps are available every summer at KIS. We have a special summer curriculum, including activities such as a water play, summer crafts, making cool desserts, and weekly field trips. Children can join from one to three weeks. One year, the elementary class children studied bridges as their project. At the end of the camp they had built their own original bridge using junk materials.
Spring Day School
This is held during spring vacation in March. Our themes are spring and Easter. During this week we explore these themes with enjoyable activities
